Zanzibar Highlights

For travellers who want to see Zanzibar but have only a day for it — often on the way home after a climb or a safari. It starts and ends at Zanzibar Airport, with no hotel in between.

A private guide takes you through Stone Town, out to a spice farm for lunch, and on to a beach for the afternoon, then back to the airport in time for your flight.

    Day 01 — Stone Town, spice farm & beach

    You meet your guide at Zanzibar Airport and spend two to three hours in historic Stone Town. From there you head out to a spice farm to learn how Zanzibar earned its name, with a Tanzanian lunch on the farm. The afternoon goes to a beach — swimming, photographs and rest, or snorkelling and a boat trip at extra cost — before your airport transfer in the evening.
