Overview

Serengeti Classic Safari

This is the journey that made northern Tanzania famous, driven at a pace that leaves time to watch rather than rush. From Arusha you explore the forests of Arusha National Park and the baobab country of Tarangire, climb over the Ngorongoro highlands and roll out onto the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Your guide travels with you all week in a pop-up-roof safari vehicle, with nights in lodges and tented camps chosen for their setting. Depending on the month you may meet the great wildebeest migration; in any season the Serengeti’s big cats and the black rhino of the Ngorongoro Crater make it a week you will talk about for years.
